since the new Chairman of Tai Lian party(台湾团结联盟,Taiwan independent movement party,deep green) Huang Kunghui(he was KMT member) said Tai lian will be on a moderate position on political issue and rename that party "Taiwan democracy society party",Lee Tunghui redefined himself,he said it's no possible to pursue Taiwan independent,and he criticized Chen Shuibian always tell lies to cheat civilians.
　　"One weekly壹周刊" reported that Lee Tung Hui Encouraged openingto the Mainland China and let its(Mainland China) capital enter Taiwan market,and let Mainland China people could travel Taiwan.he criticized DPP Government changed ideas/policy frequently: "The policy is not the same at morning and at night." DPP‘s policy cause Taiwan and Mainland China economic trade not in balance,Taiwan lost most capital,Talents and technology.
Lee also said: don't thought any one who comes from Mainland China is spy,Taiwanese should let Taiwan be the shopping heaven of Mainland traveller.
Lee Tunghui clarify he is not "Taiwan independent movement farther",Taiwan is always has sovereignty and independence.so it's no necessary to pursue independence.he said: blue(KMT) and green(DPP) parties just like do power struggle under the guise "independence" and "unification",ordinary Taiwanese is the victim.　
Lee said established "Nation unification committee",.Formulat the Program of Nation unification,and precipitated Wang(Mainland China)-Gu(Taiwan) negotiation in 1990s,he did all of these just let the two sides of Taiwan channel could dialogize .but after the change of Government in 2000,the DPP Chen Shuibian government ended these.

Lee Tunhui considers the current China President Hu Jintao is realistic,and Hu seems not so tough while he face Taiwan issue,Hu is not like the Jiang Zeimin just like only talk but no action.

Lee's title is ex-president of so called ROC. at first, "ROC" and the word "president" are words that china mainland will never accept. China mainland has considered Lee as a core person who insists on an "independent Taiwan" . therefore, China mainland will never officially permit Lee's visit.

the spokesman of Bei Jing center Goverment just said knows Taiwan media reported Lee feel like visit Mainland China.so i think Bei Jing maybe change attitude one day,but of course the condition is Lee abendons "Taiwan independence" view

Bei Jing dislike both "ROC" and "President" words,but i think according to "Wang-Gu negotiation汪辜会谈"'s definition: One China,two expression一中二表" ,"ROC" is existent,cuz China's current status is disunited,so we want to unifty China.

To be fair, this guy is a very good politician. Taiwan strait is very dangerous in the coming two years. Hopefully, America will still be capable to maintaining the status quo.
