when i first raised the question ( if you call Han Chinese nationalists, then what about those Tibetan secessionists?), you started to talk about the 'extent' of nationalism.

Doesn't matter what ethnicity you are, you can be a chauvisnist towards the state.
And yes, extent does matter.

Sure, if they want too, althought they are pretty rare nowadays. It's not like I need to feel threatened by them, to such an extent that I can single handedly amend the constitution and take away their freedoms of assembly and speech.
Your tyrannical reaction to opposition though, illustrates a classic example of insecurity.

They have decolonized more recently, have yet to be developing economies (especially near the Congo) which lead to strong ethnic solidarity, exclusive policies, low democratization, fear of power and economic hardship. In short, Sub Sahara Africa faces hard challenges that are not present in the majority of the outside world.
Plus, many crises are supported by a difference in foreign power within regions. Like China supporting Sudan despite the genocides and it dismantles all Security Council proposals towards peace for that purpose.
Shouldn't be surprised though, it's not the first time the CCP does something like that; look at Cambodia (eventhough the genocide also targetted Chinese people!).

Strawman, I think you have me confused with your stereotypes towards "westerners".
There's nothing wrong with talking to Mao. Diplomacy is the driving force behind peace. Mao was a pretty horrible leader in all aspects, so even the more reasons to have discussions with him and try to contain his horrible policies.

Pretty much still are. Except petty attacks at my person and talking about the obvious freedom of speech in Canada, you have done little to prove me wrong.

Oh wow, he did it again. What's next? Stephen Harper wears a blue tie, HE MUST KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN REGARDS TO INTERNATIONAL POLITICS!!!!!

this question is the most pointless question ever. and you using the term "in all aspects" shows your arrogance and bias. nobody in the world can be good or bad " in all aspects". Mao was bad in all aspects? Mao period was the LEAST corrupt one in China's history! and only the backward economy then is NOT enough to explain this.

whos attacking you at you person? its always been you that states your words are unchallenged, mine are fallacious, yours are words of wisdom, mine are non sense. nobody attacks you here, easy kid.

This is more than annoyance, it's outright hostility against people not agreeing with the CCP. I would be insecure if I was the CCP. I would have to set myself as the all infallible party of all of China. Seems like admitting any substantial faults from the CCP is so dangerous that they never do it.

China decolonized in 1905. Rwanda decolonized in the 1970's.

Darfur is not at all a question of democracy, it's stopping outright genocide. Yet the CCP propagates genocide in exchange for Sudanese oil. China is such a socialist state hey

Every single one of Mao's policies as head of state were horrible...how's that?
Prove me wrong with what you think are good policies? but I see none of that. I'll just take it you don't have any.
And the only pointless thing here is thinking because you have a picture of the Dalai Lama discussing with Mao Zedong, that should somehow mean anything regarding the cause for Tibetan autonomy and Chinese democratization.

See how I attack your argument but not your person? Whereas you build a strawman argument from me just because I'm a "westerner"

I know you have satires in Chinese. Oh well, if you want to downplay your own strategy of arguments, all the easier for me.

This shows what? That you can't argue worth shit? I agree.
Japan did not colonize "China", it only colonized Manchuria and Shandong and occupied other parts. The Qing Dynasty was the core of imperialism in China.

No, China supports the Sudanese state politically and financially, who is widely known for committing genocide since 2003.

Americans support Israelis that shoot and kill palestinians in Middle East. Americans even helped Israelis develop weapons to kill The Palestinians.

kid did i ever say the whole China was colonized? lol
Republic of China ( not the entity on Taiwan islands today), thru which scimmage of warlords sponsored by various foreign powers did never stop from the very day it was built, is called semi colonized. its a Marxist concept but really very much close to the fact then.

lol ok seems like we have different definition of imperialism.
ok after this argument, i am really impressed by your simplification of China and its history. its ok that you have your own opinions, but sorry they dont sound very convincing to me because of your obvious bias. I believe generally China is heading towards a right direction, more freedom and rights will come, although it takes time, thats why you guys advice are welcome to give the government pressure to make it faster, as long as you dont use Olympics as tool.
