I have noticed reading this forum that the chinese participants can never own up to there countries problems where as us so called westerners can actually admit where our society needs improvement. I guess that is why they are still living in a communist regiment. Also if us westerners are so evil and bad why do you chinese want to live and study in our society?

Your posts really cannot resist to try to be wind-ups, can't they? BTW: why not try their [not there] countries instead of "there" countries? I'm sure even a native Chinghish speaker knows the difference.

Education and basics, even for me or you: it works... SOME times.

Or "its there thinhk" ??? If there were a gawd, it would teach us language... or probably not.

We deliever communislism to western countries, chinese students are all spies sent by CCP! I suggest you report that to your police and ask them to arrest all chinese students.

this is truely discusting, the chinese should be ashamed of this.....

To be honest Adelaide, I thought this was either a wind up or an attempt to get donations. (there is an appeal for donations on the page it is put through to.)

You can't say to people that they should be ashamed of something, particularly when you have no knowledge whether they are involved in it, and not expect them to come back on the defensive.

Perhaps it might have worked better if you had just brought up the question of what people felt about animal rights. I'm pretty sure this varies between all countries on the board, but if you were hoping to increase people's interest in the rights of animals, I think it might have worked a bit better if you had not made it so personal...that's my 2 pence worth.

Animal rights! Woo, good words! But it seems that US soldiers like to treat Iraq prisoners as animal, maybe that is because they love animal?

Many of the younger chinese has embraced western culture and the Western society have better economic advantages than China. So why wouldn't they come over to live and study? Unfortunately, many westerners who don't know China thinks that China is some backwarded society when it is changing for the better. Of course, changing for the better is not good enough for the those westerners.

On the comments on a communist regime, it is matter of opinion. There are many westerners who lived in or visited China and they would have a different opinion of how China's communist government is like compared of what they have read in their textbooks.
