Well I am a bit suspicious that it is a power issue that has caused this.

You have not convinced me that the Dalai Lama is a hypocrite and I do know that Buddhism can be an extremely real spiritual practice giving genuine results. I still believe that is where he comes from.

I'd say Maoism was a religion.

very good point. What marks religions is dogma.

What marks spirituality is inner freedom.

Buddhism is generally accepted as the least dogmatic religion, working instead for spiritual growth.

The Buddha himself said 'Put no knowledge above the deepest truth you know within yourself'.

So maybe the fear of Dalai Lama is a fear of open, honest communication.

When I was in Tibet, I saw it was quite easy for Tibetans to become wealthy
if they are industrious, many Tibetans own houses and cars by doing business.

on the contrary, those hardened believers who spent all their time on pray
will never come out of poverty. of course they don't need to worry about
starvation, because Chinese central government supply subsidies to feed them.
but what make me angry is that they donate most of those subsidies to the
temples. religions really make people silly

Are you saying that they don't keep the money for themselves but donate it to the temples and this is what makes you angry?

I think that the temples need the money to make the repairs they are painstakingly doing after the cultural revolution. You will find that although they are not out working, they do work hard. There are very few monks to do the jobs that hundreds or even thousands used to do.

I think your difficulty is that you don't understand them. Their priorities are different to yours. Nice picture.

Come on, Chinese central government earmarks big budget to repair the tamples.
and monks also get subsidies from central government.
(I guess Dalai clique told you quite a different story, right? so having a trip
to Tibet is necessary for you to get the truth.)
donating money to tamples is their own business, but it is unfair to use the
subsidies which come from tax payers to do this.
your churchs also cheat your money, wake up guys.
all religions base on cheat.

the ridiculous thing is, some of them give the money that the government gives them to the Dalai Lama, then he uses it to seperate China and hire western lobbists.

Maybe it's all this censorship in China that makes you believe having a religion impoverishes people, but nothing is further from the truth. Jews are extremely orthodox to their religious believes and they are overtly rich. Luther's social ideologies are often credited for the habits of the hard working English men and women that began capitalism, and he was a religious leader.
It's more like the opposite. When people are poor they have more faith into their religion, because they have little else, they need something to believe in. Let them. I was a lot more religious when I was homeless then I am now.
This is all a case of mis-guided causation.
