The reports of tian'anman tank man is a perfect example of media bias
I don't know in the tian'anmen affair photo gallery, if you have seen the tanks and trucks were burnt. And the trucks were used to carry soldiers. It was tragedy, I saw burnt body.Other things, Do you saw the tank man carried a bag? And the tank man climbed on the tank with the bag and trying to open the hatch....It is danger, the bag would be support to be bomb (i am sorry, my memory i fade at this point if he try to open the hatch. I thought I remember he tried to open the hatch. I have the DVD of tank man sent from my USA friend.) .
My God, at this point, the tank man with a bag would be killed a thousand times in Iraq, they never let anyone get near a army vehicle no mention tank. And the tank man with a bag would be killed a hundred times in any country where army vehicles were burnt.
But, in beijing, Why tanks dodged the man several times and people speak with him, it is about several minutes long.... And when people went off with tank man, tank man walk rather than fight against?
If a man try to stop a tank, he at least have some percentage confidence on he could stop the tank unless he decide to suicide. Why he had such confidence, if army killed innocent people with machine gun. Any why he have confidence to speak with soldier inside the tank. And why people speak to him before went off with him. And why tank man's feet walked if he want to suicide, why didn't he fight. The relationship between a citizen and army is speaking, believe from what you saw from the video, carefully use deduce it may come from bias supported parameter like X Y X...
The reports of tank man is a perfect example shows the bias of western media to decode from a video.

This seems to me be an example of Chinese propaganda. You are now turning that Chinese hero who stood before that tank into a terrorist. Pretty pathetic. Reminds me of the propaganda Hitler used on the Jews.
Also, I want to add that your signature is "spammy". It seems like spamming the forum. I request that you remove all of those links except for one. Those are the forum rules. I won't debate this with you. Either they will be gone, or you will be gone.

hey hey, Du Bois. I am appalled by your paralleling rrttrr's argument with Hitler's propaganda. Your response reminds me of the language of the Red Guards in the Cultural Revolution, who were apt to labelling peoples with unfavorable titles.
I think rrttrr makes a good point in his reasoning on the Tank Man picture. His interpretation throws some light on the actualities of that time.

No, the Chinese nationalist responses (which rr's remarks are typical of) are the language of the Red Guards of China's Cultural Revolution. The Red Guards were unthinking Chinese fanatics, which is similar to the unthinking Chinese nationalism in his remarks and likely in yours as well.

How do you reach such an assumption as "and likely in yours as well"?

So Du Bois, any comments that are in favor of China seem to be nationalist propaganda in your eyes?

It's not an assumption, it's a conclusion. I reached it by your absurd comment, which says that my attacking nationalism is zealotry, which makes no sense. It was a poor attempt to characterize my statements as being exactly what yours are: Chinese nationalism.

It's not a question of in my eyes. However, to answer your question, no. Chinese nationalism is Chinese nationalism though. You seem to prefer using doublespeak: saying that Chinese nationalism is morality or common sense and morality and common sense are Chinese nationalism.
