The form of government is irrelevant if we are addressing tyranny and oppression by a government. To the oppressed there is fundamentally no difference.

I agree. And that really is my point in all this, the thing that links socialism and fascism is the totalitarian structure, that takes rights away from the people. They both claim to serve the people , and yet in reality are oppressive.Even Democracy can be oppressive if it does not follow rules such as Human rights and an equal representation of the minority.
