South Africa and Zimbabwe similarities and comparisons

Hello,

I am looking for what any other forum members opinions and beliefs are when it comes to the South African/Zimbabwe relations, as well as where these two nations are going.

I believe that I will have an exam question for my political science course on the similarities of what these two countries have gone through, are going through and will go through.

Was the Rhodesia white rule comparable to SA's appartheid? Is Mbeki doing a decent job? If Zuma is elected will he destroy alot of the hard work and would this at all resemble Mugabee?

Also any other help would be great.

Cheers!
