Whites make up 10% of the South African population. Should they have more than 10% of the elected representatives in the South African government?

Whites and blacks have repsentation, everyone can vote. There is even, in persentage, more whites in parlament than in the country. And would you allow such a system in your own country? One where the minoroties should havethe same repsentation in numbers than the whites? I highly doubt it Super. And if you read my post proparly, you will see that I made it very clear that this is not a purely racial issue. So your solution will solve nothing. Take the electricity crisis. The minister responsible for the whole fiasco is a man calle Alec Erwin - a White guy.

Second, you miss Coetzee's point by 4 miles! REally. Read his earlier books where he denounces the evils of apartheid. Disgracetalks about the same things I talk about in my thread, the people of the country, no matter what their colour,being let down by the government, no matter their colour, who are just the same as the previous government. Thus the old idea of 'The more things change, the more they stay the same'

And, as I havetold you, and mention in the opening post - the economy did not do so well underwhite rule, but id excelent the last 12 years.

@ dude, first I want to know why South African whites should have even more representation than the 10% of the population they compose.

Secondly, I am looking at the Human Rights Watch website and I see no mention of abuse against whites. If it's SOOO bad, as you say, why is there nothing here?

The big thing is the mass murders of white farmers in South Africa. They have extremely high rates of being murdered by gangs/crime organizations.
