In SA, bug news is that we are the first country to ever successfully convict people for being part of an international nuclear smuggling ring, that ledto both Pakistan and North Korea getting the bomb (or getting close). The finacier, according to the two convicted - Libya.

He is still a dictator, he is still a serial human rights abuser, he is stilla loon, and he's record with terrorism still stands.

Maybe he is not as bad as he used to be, but honestly, I trust new, peacefull Gadaffi less than the old one. This one is more sinister and smart.

But not the worst there is, no.

You should all realize that it was British colonialism that made Robert Mugabe the man that he is today. We are all products of our society.
Ian Smith from the former Rhodesia was just a bad if not worst than
Robert Mugabe could ever be.

Bad yes, worse, that is ignoring history. I can't believe I am defending Smith (well, I am not, he was bad) but at least under him, people had food, petrol, etc. Now? They have nothing. He was many things, but he was not a self enriching despot, like ol Mugabe. People are dying under Mugabe, and he should go!

And Mugabe was only made my colonialism in the way he uses fear of colonial powers to keep himself in power.
