The Christian God is printed on all of our money. The American Pledge had the Christian God added to it in the 1950's and it is recited in every school and before every major sporting event. You are not being discriminated against just because you don't get your way 100% of the time. That's called democracy. America is NOT a theocracy. America was NOT founded on Christian principals NOR was it meant to be a Christian nation. If it were meant to be so then it would have been explicitly stated by our non-Christian founders.
Christians are NOT discriminated against in this country. You don't see Hindus complaining because their religious holidays are being taken out of our secular schools. Why? Because they were never included in the first place? And why? Because they are not Christian. Seriously. Stop being ridiculous. It's so frustrating. '
Personally, I see nothing wrong with people, in secular public schools, wearing necklaces or t-shirts or whatever if it has a symbol of their particular faith on it. There is no harm in that. But keep the religious holidays out of it (Christmas has pretty much become just a way for big businesses to make money but it is still linked with religion - kids generally aren't even in school during Christmas anyway so I don't see what the big deal is with just replacing a 'Christmas feeling' in schools with a 'winter feeling' - many people forget that there are a large number of people in this country who do not celebrate Christmas) and then everyone can be happy and whatnot.

My point you addressed in your last paragraph im not sure where the rest of it came from. Kids are being told they can not wear crosses to school, or t-shirts with any religious overtones. Kids are being expelled for saying lunch time prayers and for giving out chrismas cards because someone that is so insecure in their own beliefs got offended by someone secure enough in theirs to practice it openly.
I have said it before and I will say it again. This country is for ALL people the religious, racial and homophobic intolerance in this country has made us weaker as a whole. This country is a melting pot of all diffrent ethnic, and relgious beliefs with that in mind why do we as a country feel we need to micromanage and sensor everything? This is NOT about christians alone its about all relgions what ever happened to live and let live, and respect for others beliefs even if they dont match your own?
Like I said, this country is sue happy and so PC now it makes me want to vomit and its not the Governments fault its our fault as citizens for being so intolerant that the govt has to act.
