Actually I agree with most of what was written in that paste. Although i didnt read it completely, i believe that social programs do not help ppl of lower income. And by that i do not mean blacks but whites/blacks. But i believe Dems try to sell themselves as caring about blacks by their support of social programs. Socialism is a perfect system on paper, in reality it fails and always has. It is not a incentive to get out and work when you get rent/food and a check for free.
Welfare should be like workers comp. for time worked you get welfare saved up incase of bad times.
And no im not from a rich family. My father used to work in the oil field untill the colapse of that industry in the 1980's. Then my father had several jobs and my mother had to go to work. My father worked insane overtime and always did what was necissary for the family. He sat us down and was very honest about the money sitution and just said this is how it is. I worked full time at a grocery store, was in the army reserve both to pay for college. Hard work is what we should be promoting not welfare.
