How about this then? You can believe in whatever you like and everyone ELSE will believe as THEY choose.
Everyone gets along and no punishment necessary. Seems real enough to me.
No scientist I am aware of forces anyone to believe in evolution. However, as I alluded to earlier, the old religions had no problem forcing people to see things their way. And in the United States some would love to still have that power.
