You might as well go
with the trend......wear a suit of armour, and carry a sword to the frige with you. And since the manufacturers seem to be focusing on impracticality, have them install a flame thrower inside of a dragon's head on top. Your beast would then at least have a fighting chance, and you could sell tickets to your nightly frige raids if you do that sort of thing.
