I think only one person answered the question but it was the wrong question,
but I think it may have been the title that screwed things up. I should not have said people I am asking about
persons.
What I am looking for is “
do you think that an animal is a person.” And what defines your belief in this either way.
To be up front, that law doesn’t consider non-human animals persons. I do.
But I do not define my beliefs according to the law. The last time I asked this question in a way that didn’t confuse what I was asking, I found that most people in that particular forum defined their beliefs on the matter according to the law or by their religions.
And great points rodog, animals do war.
And yes we are one of the last to develop, so we may be the least advanced out of all if you generalize the word advanced.
The question is: “Is a non-human animal a person?” I am not asking if they are people that was a mistake, but if they each are persons.
