I've got some critiques:
1) ALL of the GOP candidates, even the minor ones, are heretical in some way. The only ones that aren't are the REALLY minor ones like Gilmore and Tancredo. All of the rest have major differences with the GOP base on vital issues.
2) Ron Paul, while I love his voting record, would make a terrible President. This is a guy who believes that the US brought Pearl Harbor on itself.
3) Huckabee has helped himself a great deal with the debates and has even earned some high marks from liberal blogs.
4) Tommy Thompson, while he hasn't done well in the debates, is the most qualified Republican to be President and will do well in Iowa. Which is about when he'll get noticed.
