Since birth humans observe beginnings and ends to all things. To us all things are finite. Therefore, it is difficult for most people to envision the possibility that matter and energy have always existed...one possible explanation for the fact that there is no creator necessary. Matter and energy cannot be destroyed (or created), it can only be changed from one to the other.
