Personally I think this race is going to be entertaining ... full of blame, intrigue, ideas, and a new look at what Democracy is truly about. I like the quote by Chris Rock -

"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon.' Need I say more?”

- nothing fits these days but that could be an exciting opportunity to take this Administration by storm. I think it's fair to say our current political agenda is at best, a disaster.

One issue I hope takes a backseat in this Presidential Race is the focus on religion. We do still live in a country that stands for the freedom of religion. Why do we coninue to blur those lines? Religion hasn't made any leader less likely to go to war or more likely to change the poverty and violence going on every day in this country. It's time for someone, anyone to run that can win the vote by actually making a pact to make a difference in our own nation (for the better, including lessening our sad deficit) and doing something to rescue our foreign policy from further failure.
