McCain with Big Lead Over Giuliani in New York

Quote:
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is trailing in the race for the Republican presidential nomination even on his home turf of New York state, a new poll showed on Monday.

The WNBC/Marist poll ahead of the February 5 primaries in New York showed 34 percent of registered Republicans support John McCain, compared to 23 percent for Giuliani. Among Republicans likely to vote, McCain kept his 34 percent support, while Giuliani was tied in second place with Mitt Romney at 19 percent.

Reuters
Giuliani better pray for a miracle in Florida or he is done. He is fizzling before our very eyes and badly in his own backyard.

McCain will die on his own terms. We conservatives will make sure of that. No worries on that front.

McCain is leading Giuliani in the former New York mayor's home state. While 51 percent of Giuliani's backers say they are firmly committed to him, only 35 percent of McCain's supporters strongly back him. Of registered Republicans, 46 percent think McCain is most likely to beat the Democratic presidential nominee in November.

Dude, your need to be a bit more conservative with your predictions. When Huckabee got past Giuliani in the polls you said that it'd be gone in a week, and you made a bunch of other predictions: few of them have been right. What you want to happen isn't what will happen.

Yeah, Huckabee is declining, but he's still dominating Giuliani nationally. If you want to talk about Florida, Huckabee doesn't matter, and neither does Giuliani - neither of them will win it. If Giuliani is lucky, he might get second place.

I know this is scary of some people but Rudy might lose Florida.
It's not really a surprise he's not a front run anymore. He RP and Freddy are already out. I would like to have Mccain because i think Huck and Mitt are very shifty. I don't think just because Rudy would take Florida it would make any diff now. Unless he took 90% LOL
