Wow, that's pretty short-sighted.
Who cares if he was muslim or even if he is muslim? Don't make the mistake of painting all people of a certain religion as terrorists or untrustworthy. That would be like saying because there are a higher percentage of blacks in prisons than whites that blacks are just naturally born as criminals, which is totally ridiculous.
People who are extremists commit extreme acts, period. Their religion doesn't condone extremism, the muslim faith is being given certain hateful interpretation by those who are extremists...people who commit terrorist acts in the name of the muslim faith are acting in a fundamentalist way. Not unlike a fundamentalist does who adheres to any other religion. i.e. George Bush and other Christian extremists.
