No, I was only comparing Huck's and Byrd's position on gay rights, not on race. Byrd is no longer a racist.

BTW, Boston's two biggest papers endorsed McCain. That's gotta hurt Romney's feelings, especially since one of them, the Herald, is one of the Northeast's most important conservative papers.

So you got an impression from his statements over a decade ago, which were contradictary to what he's saying now, therefore he's a RINO... Could you drop a link to these statements?
