Lightbulb Women Voters -- The 100m Hurdle Dems Must Clear

A Recent Poll Of Women Voters Ages 18-26 Revealed An Interesting Turn Of Events For Barrack Obama: Oprah Did Little To Sway Their Vote In Support Of Obama. In Fact, Women Over The Age Of 63, Responded In Kind That Oprah's Theatrics Didn't Convince Them Of Barrack's Abilities To Lead The Nation.

I Watched The Rally At Which Oprah Spoke, And Reminiscent Of Martin Luther King's, " I Believe" Speech, Oprah Raised The Roof With All Of The Hoopla Of A Southern Methodist Minister. Here Is The Problem With Women Voters In America: They Like Their Drama On Tv; They Like Their Drama In The Bedroom; They Even Like Their Drama When It Comes To Suitable Companions, But When Their Self Proclaimed Talk Show Diva Brings Real Life Drama To The Forefront, They Are In Denial.

Back When Ratification Of The "E.R.A.", Women Were Experiencing New Found Freedoms And Stature. Now Due To An Overwhelming Religious Right Movement, They Find Themselves In The Kitchen Again. Evangelical Principles Value A Strong Family Home, And Preach The Importance Of A Woman Staying At Home. This Same Principle Is Evident In The Mormon Beliefs. In Fact, Only Men Are Allowed To Attain Priesthood Status, Leaving The Women To Participate As Members Of The "Relief Society".

If The Democrats Are Ever Going To Have A Chance, They Need To Awaken The Independent Spirit Of The American Woman Voter. Sure They Have The Lesbians, The Teachers' Unions, And The Pro-choice Sectors, But They Don't Have The Rural Voter. Republicans Are Banking On The Premise That Rural Mothers Simply Follow The Husband To The Voting Booth. Democrats Have A Real Opportunity To Reverse The Trend By Challenging Women To Take Control Of Their Economic Destiny. Especially In Hard Hit Manufacturing Areas, They Need To Drive Home The Point That Bringing Home The Bacon Will Ultimately Land On Their Shoulders. That The Democrats Can Stimulate Job Growth And Ensure Family Values And Not Family Financial Despair.

This Is A Race Ladies And Gentlemen, And This Is One 100m Hurdle Race That Will Make Or Break The Democrats Coup D'etat.

Not to be a jerk here, I'm sure you have excellent things to say - but if your posts weren't title-case, I would be able to read it a bit better. For me, it's too distracting as it is right now.
