John Edwards Relating to the Common Man

He's about as close to the "common man" as John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi.

“We cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating — pretty soon we’re not going to have a young African-American male population in America. They’re all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two.” - JOHN EDWARDS

1. He didn't say anything that black leaders like Jackson and Sharpton haven't said themselves.

2. John Edwards was not born into money (far from it in fact), he has earned every penny he's ever made.

When I see an attack like this one Ringo, I smell fear in the air.

We must conclude that you think that we can actually build enough prisons to house all the young African-American males, Swabbie.
Note: Did you know that the USA has a greater percentage of its population behind bars that any other country in the world?

You think trial lawyers, who sue people and institutions for MILLIONS of dollars, are a crop of people making an honest living?

You're the first "PRO Lawyer" person I've met. Congrats.

He would be a refreshing departure from Bush though. Imagine having a president who could actually say what was on his mind.

bush has been the most personal, comforting president ever in recent times. if you ever see him speak, watch his press conferences, etc. this man does say what's on his mind and doesn't give you the bull shit that Edwards snogs out of his mouth each time he spits air.
