Be honest....do we really?

Imperfect as the democrats are, I have had my fill of republican leadership, with this administration.
I am convinced that no matter what happens, things cannot go worse than they've gone with Bush.
It will only be my 2nd presidential election to vote in, I got my US citizenship in 2002, and I'm voting democratic, I already know that.

I'm a life long Democrat and I really cannot imagine that changing, but I have colored outside the lines at least once, and it turned out to be the right choice that time.

I generally vote for the party (Democratic in my case). I have voted for a Republican two times: once to vote against Hillary (I knew Hillary was going to win in a landslide, but I wanted to send a message that Hillary is a weak candidate) and another time to vote against a Democratic state comptroller who was spending tax payer dollars to help his disabled wife. I felt bad for him, but the comptroller is supposed to be a guy who enforces the law, so he can't be breaking it.

Generally though I've been voting for Democrats for about 10 years.

My parents raised me to vote Democrat at all times, but typically I'll give every candidate consideration. Normally I end up voting Democrat, although I have crossed over.

I voted Reagan in 1984 because everyone else did, except the majority of Minnessotans.

I voted Dukakis in 1988 because my hot girlfriend was greek and convinced me to.

I voted Clinton in 1992, it just seemed like such a young person's revolution.

I voted Clinton again in 1996 because life was grand and I was in the heart of the .com/computer boom selling software out of Seattle. Little did I know Clinton had nothing to do with the high tech boom.

In 2000 I voted for Gore, and my vote didn't count because were not a Democracy but a Republic.

In 2004 I voted for Kerry and well...............

Looks like before 2000 I didn't make very informed decisons but seemed to vote candidate. After 2000 I'm voting by party, the Democrats.

I vote based on the candidate regardless of party. That is how everyone should vote, based on the candidate's ideas, character, and past record (if they have one).

Blind party voting is what is screwing up our nation.

OK i saw that alot people vote for parties instead of the person(or at least we I am under that impresion!)...Now we must be honest to ourselves is it the right thing to do to vote for a party or by the persons morals and ethics?

IMO people who vote straight ticket for a particular party get taken advantage of by that party. Why cater to you when they already have your vote.

Got to say tho this election ill probably vote for any Dem but Hillary( or Gravel but he has no shot)
I cant stand her and don't trust her one bit.If Hillary wins nomination I'm voting republican.Just about everyone I know said the same.

I would vote for Ron Paul regardless.

I generally vote for whoever most likely is gonna protect my Freedom and Rights and have an America first policy.

I think Hillary would trade our liberties for a matza ball.
