Traitor Alert: US Democratic hopeful Kucinich meets Assad, blasts Bush Traitor Alert
Source: The Jerusalem Post
Quote:
US Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich, on a Mideast visit that included a stop in Syria, said the country lambasted by the Bush administration deserves credit for taking in more than a million Iraqi refugees.
Kucinich, a strong anti-war opponent who trails far in the US presidential polls, also said he won't visit Iraq on his trip to the region because he considers the US military deployment there illegal.
"I feel the United States is engaging in an illegal occupation ... I don't want to bless that occupation with my presence," he said in an interview in Lebanon, after visiting Syria. "I will not do it."
Kucinich, who accused the Bush administration of policies that have destabilized the Mideast, met with Syrian President Bashar Assad during his visit to Damascus. He said Assad was receptive to his ideas of "strength through peace."
He also praised Syria for taking in Iraqi refugees.
"What most people are not aware of is that Syria has taken in more than 1.5 million Iraqi refugees," Kucinich said. "The Syrian government has actually shown a lot of compassion in keeping its doors open, and being a host for so many refugees."
Kucinich said he would ask UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to follow up on the "dire conditions" in southern Lebanon, especially Israeli cluster bombs leftover from the war that have killed more than 30 and injured at least 200 since the fighting's end.
"There has to be a commitment to cleaning up these cluster bombs," Kucinich said.

Oh, yeah, the scumbag moonbat traitor (in this case this wording is very necessary moderators) can "bless" Assad's depraved regime with his presence but he cannot "bless" our troops next door with his presence. That's OK, moonbat Kucinich, because "elected officials" like you should never go anywhere near the great US Marines, soldiers, sailors, and airmen!! What a jerk, he thinks he can "bless" anyone with his presence.

If you don't like him, don't vote for him, and (with intellegent, non-partisan reasons) try to influence those close to you not to vote for him should he get the nomination.

CALLING Dennis Kucinich a traitor intelligent !ha ha
Calling Dennis Kucinich a traitor and not attempting to agrue points just because you disagree with him indicates that you may possibly not be capable of intelligent discourse.
ps I do not agree with Kucinich but I will not call him a traitor just becasue I disagree with him.

So....any chance you'll be debating about why you think he's a "traitor?"

Very unlikely.
Dude usually tosses his scat on the walls and then just watches it drip to the floor.

Hey Ohio! Good job! You must be proud! Keep up the good work!
I find it funny that he had to go all the way to Syria to find someone who likes him!!! lmao
Here's the final point:

Think about it Rooooodemoogg.
Currently, our country does not have diplomatic relations w/ Syria. Queen bee and the demos seem to think otherwise. Leave foreign policy to the executive branch and lets let senators worry about other issues. It is stated in the Constitution of this amazing country. I guess that means nothing to the Democrats anymore.
This is beyond senators power. Talk about power crazed.

That's not your final point, which I have yet to see. You've taken that statement out of context and used it to try and justify your "stance" on this thread.

We have left diplomacy to the executive branch and look where it's got us. Anyway this does not prove that Kuchinich is hurting troop moral in the least. Find some proof or correct yourself.

Yes, knocking on the back door saying that the mission you are fighting is hurting troop morale in my opinion. Thank goodness our brave and valiant troops believe very strongly in the mission at hand, and don't let moonbats like him get in the way.
Instead they follow our true leader:
