Mark Warner, then Evan Bayh

Warner is considered a big possibility for VP for Clinton.

After this thread I've seen that it's not so much Edward's vision that is flawed, but that it can be argued fairly well that he is hypocritical and there really is no defense against that charge.

Hypocrisy is a small thing that can be overcome. It's mainly a bugaboo of people who blog a lot and post on discussion boards.

What hurts Edwards is his style. The anti-corporate populist shtick hasn't been electorally viable in decades, if it ever really was. Too many people are heavily invested in corporate America. Corporate America's real power isn't in it's money and lobbyists, but in the millions of middle class Americans whose livelihoods are tied up in jobs with corporations, business relationships with corporations(if they are self-employed or running a small business), or investment in corporations.

Not to mention the fact that much like attacking Congress, attacking "corporations" tends to have Americans nodding their heads in agreement, but when you mention a specific corporation, Americans tend to like that corporation if they work for them, have money invested in them, or have good experiences buying from that corporation. The whole concept breaks down when you attack specific corporations. Same with Congress, where Americans hate Congress but love their representative(and most would be hard pressed to actually name a Congressman they hate).
