"But, the group that is now about 17-27 is viciously Democratic, much more polarized than any group in the history of the PEW study."

It would be interesting to see this broken down by racial group, by sex, and by region.

Looks like SuperDude is in a serious minority.
I'll thank you not to take potshots at other posters in your opening post.

Firstly, I will not delete whatever you feel is in accord with Republican party interests. Secondly, don't say "W.E.B. do this, WEB do that." There is no guarantee that I will read any thread. There are 9 mods. If you have a problem with a thread, feel free to send any of them a PM.

Superdude wasn't criticizing the PEW report, but the other one.

Honestly, I wish we would get rid of the Democrats and Republicans and vote for INDIVIDUALS. If anyone remembers what they are, please tell me because all I see is a bunch of partisan crap and party line voting. I thought we were supposed to be individuals that thought for ourselves. "Express individuality" is what I've always been taught. Voting for a certain party is as STUPID as it can get. I wish I could start my own country.

I didn't deny the general results, just the accuracy of the results. However, honestly, it doesn't matter yet. 18-24s have about the lowest voter turnout--less than 50%. All other groups have voter turnout of much more than 50%.

I vote for the individual. Most of the time that goes party line. There are few democrats that I agree with. Zell Miller, when running for Governor of Georgia, is one of the few democrats I agree with--I voted for him.

I have read the reports of both studies, and I think that both studies do reveal the demographics of their samples. At least one of them does. I'm doing this from memory, but both of these reports are available on-line. As I remember, the split among the caucasians is almost fifty-fifty, with males a slight lean to the Republicans and females a slight lean to the Democrats. The poll numbers among other groups tends to be about 85-15%.

The Greenberg reports of the Democracy Corps admits that it is produced by people whose loyalty is to the Democratic Party. One of the co-chairmen of the group is James Carville, a rather liberal campaign manager for Clinton who is married to a rather right-wing campaigner, I think her name is Maitlin. Unusual marriage. But, Carville uses the group to get valid information for his future approach to campaigns. I don't think he is interested in skewing results since his goal is to find the facts that he needs. Thus far, the Democracy Corps reports have gone along quite similarly to other major reports.

The PEW study is on-line. I won't look it up yet again, but it is readily available since I have found it three times. It tends to go along with other studies in other fields that suggest that the majority of permanent opinions are formed by the age of 21.

There is too much affiliation with ******* in this poll. Now the beast is dictating polls. Unbelievable.

At the same time, James Carville is a left-wing nut.
