What's wrong with unlimited campaign contriubitons? And closing the Depts of Energy, Education, and Homeland Security? We don't need any of them, since they're all unconstitutional and suck up tax money. Stop assuming he's racist, too: maybe black and hispanic colleges don't need all that money.

And try not be biased for once and look at the good points too.

1. "War on Drugs has abused Bill of Rights"
2. Legalize medical marijuana
3. Against Patriot Act
4. Is pro-gun rights
5. Anti-draft registration
6. Against Iraq War
7. Wants to get rid of the IRS
8. Against constitutional ban on same-sex marriage
9. Against constitutional ban on flag desecration
10. No restrictions on import/export; but maintain sovereignty
11. Eliminate Homeland Security
12. Eliminate Department of Education.

It doesn't matter who likes him or hates him. What matters is, not enough people like him (thankfully) and he won't get the nomination.

Would you prefer Clinton or Giuliani in office? I'm sure they'd do much better handling the Iraq War, the war they both voted for in the first place

I would hardly call those good. The marijuana has some justification, but our country prides itself on being a clean society. besides that, eliminating whole departments is not what I call a good president, especially such big ones. Sounds like he wants to do less work to me.

Making those departments in the first place doesn't qualify as a good president either. Our country never needed those in the first place, and it proves how weak our country is that the people need the government to take care and do everything for them.

I also like how you ignored the other positives I listed....

If you take a well defined stand on an issue, arrows will be slung. We know where Dr Paul stands on virtually all of the issues due to his consistent voting record on national issues. Something sorely lacking with any other candidate.

It is absolute nonsense to say that Dr Paul is unpopular and not winning for that reason. He is extremely popular with those who know of his love of freedom and morality. Hence being the best performer at the debates to date.

Future debates will no doubt be tailored to expose any unprotected flanks.

I don't base my candidate choice on a single issue like that. Plus, if you must know, I'd prefer neither of the two.

Good point. Still those two issues stand out to me.

Funny. I thought our pride was based on being a free society. *shrugs*
