Ron Paul Has More Cash Than McCain
Quote:
ABC News' George Stephanopoulos Reports: Though often regarded as a longshot candidate for president, Republican Ron Paul tells ABC News that he has an impressive $2.4 million in cash on hand after raising an equal amount during the second quarter, putting him ahead of one-time Republican frontrunner John McCain, who reported this week he has only $2 million in the bank.

So does this mean the media will actually start paying attention to Ron Paul and giving him the same coverage as the "front runners?" He's raising more money.

Ron Paul is the truest conservative in the group. A small government that minds its own business, limited taxes, no national debt, friendly international relations, and preservation of viable life.
This is Ron Paul. This is what the party used to be aligned with before the neocons bastardized it.

Well if he has more money, and having the most money is what seems to matter, then it will be very telling if the msm doesn't start to pay him attention.

A difference of .4 million in cash? I don't think McCains backers will trifle with less 10 million dollars at a time. Not worth it.
Go Ron go!!!
The ultimate David vs Goliath epic.
The FBI and Secret Service best give Ron the finest protection imaginable. I can only imagine the unfortunate coincidences being visualized.
Wait....the Secret Service is now part of Homeland Security? Oh well.

Hear Hear!, Ron Paul is the only human being left in the Republican campaign. The others are partially robotic.

He's probably not going to get any money from Blacks. Take a look at some of his "interesting" statements from the past that have come back to haunt him.
In 1992 he was a Texas congressional candidate and had a newsletter which portryaed blacks as inclined toward crime and lacking sense about top political issues.
Under the headline of "Terrorist Update," for instance, Paul reported on gang crime in Los Angeles and commented, "If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be."
... [i]n the same 1992 edition ... [Paul wrote], "We don't think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That's true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such."
Paul also asserted that "complex embezzling" is conducted exclusively by non-blacks.
"What else do we need to know about the political establishment than that it refuses to discuss the crimes that terrify Americans on grounds that doing so is racist? Why isn't that true of complex embezzling, which is 100 percent white and Asian?" he wrote.
There's more really good Paul stuff I posted in the Bush Presidency Countdown thread. It includes the rantings of his neo-nazi supporters and an article with more direct quotes addressing his concern about Blacks. The guy is not golden. Check him out. Its not for nothing that people like David Duke are supporting him.

If he had said that only blacks are responsible for complex embezzling would that be better? Or that blacks were equally responsible?

*YAWN*
Those weren't his own words. This has been debunked already. BTW, what his supporters say hold no bearing on who he is as a cantidate. Should I judge George Bush based on his nice, kind hearted Christian supporters? Anyway - the racist comments were made in one of his newsletters while he was out campaigning. He can't be held accountable for what others say while not able to edit his newsletter.
Ron Paul is like a match in a dry field. If they don't extinguish it, it may grow into an inferno of free thinking people. Can't have that, can we? Nope. Better to label him a racist, be done with him, eh?
*sigh*...anyway, here you go: Ron Paul Race Smear Erased? - Free Market News Network
