McCain questioned about calling his wife a c*nt

lol McCain ducks the question:

Baptist Minister Asks McCain: "Did You Call Your Wife A C**t?" (VIDEO) - Politics on The Huffington Post
Quote:
At a town hall forum in Iowa yesterday, Sen. John McCain was asked about a story from Cliff Schecter's controversial recent book, The Real McCain, which alleges that during a 1992 campaign stop, McCain angrily called his wife a "trollop" and a "c**t" in front of aides and reporters.

Marty Parrish, a business owner in Des Moines, told OffTheBus's Keith Dinsmore that he asked McCain about the incident because he's concerned about how McCain's temper could impact his leadership.
Quote:
Q: This question goes to mental health and mental health care. Previously, I've been married to a woman that was verbally abusive to me. Is it true that you called your wife a (expletive)?

McCain: Now, now. You don't want to... Um, you know that's the great thing about town hall meetings, sir, but we really don't, there's people here who don't respect that kind of language. So I'll move on to the next questioner in the back.

I didn't think that story was credible when I first heard about it, but now that i think about it this does fit his personality trait quite well considering his supposed temper. Not that I care personally what he called his wife, unless he's beating her I don't think it would matter much in the campaign.

It's also quite possible that McCain doesn't even know about the story(it hasn't really been covered in the mainstream press because it's so thinly sourced). Someone stood up and said "cunt" and it made him uncomfortable.

I doubt it. The campaigns are in the business of knowing what's being said about them, just as the Obama campaign knew about the gay sex Larry Craig smear against them, even though you could never tell that they knew that by their lack of public responses over it. McCain knows the story is out there.

I agree. If a McCain supporter heard about this they would let the campaign know. If it can find it's way on political forums and Youtube then it can find it's way to their eyes and ears.

If he knew it was out there, he's just deny it. There's no evidence it happened, so he loses nothing by denying it.

lol, the audience reaction is hilarious. It's like they've never heard the word "cunt" before. Though I dislike McCain, I don't blame him for calling his wife a cunt after she commented on his thinning hair. (:

She looks hot for an old broad, but I can see how she could be trouble.

Aren't they all at some time or another?

well that’s that if McCain has a temper I'll vote for him. About time we had a president who's a psychopath.
