What was it Wright said about how maybe AIDS was a virus engineered as a secret weapon to decimate the black population?
Now THAT was crazy. Has it occurred to anyone that he might be going into the early stages of some kind of dementia?
In his response today, Obama did say that this was not the same man that he was friends with before...

At one time, Wright was a local pastor. Now, he has national exposure and might not be on the A list but he is probably on the B list. You can't buy that kind of publicity. He is getting more than his 15 minutes in the spotlight. In all seriousness, wouldn't that tempt you as well if you had radio and tv shows calling trying to get you on. You got private flights and first class hotels all paid for by the shows? It would be tempting to go with it.
You really can't blame the guy for riding this wave as long as he can. I think Obama underestimated this. Heck, Gary Hart was railroaded out for having an affair (remember "monkey business") which IMHO is less offensive than associating yourself for 20 years with Wright.

LOL at your profile notahack. I don't agree with it at all, but that was pretty funny. That's a pretty good attack. Reminds of me of this other conservative who called Michelle Obama: "Theresa Heinz 2.0."
