I second that and I take back everything I said the other day. He's an egomaniac and an asshole.

the speech wright gave at the naacp was fine--but why didn't he stop there -the next two days were just vulgar-sometimes you wonder what the agenda of people are-you would think that wright would be proud of obama-but he seems jealous ---obama has reputed his words but not him-and what does a person get for defending another-kicked in the gut and kicked under the bus-now he has forced obama to denounce him--i thought we were making big strides in this country pertaining to race-but listening to wright's snippits it seems he is the one trying to divide-he is sickening-i still support obama and i do hope you all realize that a person changes over 20 years --i sure have--my views and opinions are totally different today---we can't give up hope just because of 1 person that has gone over the deep end---STAND UP OBAMA---LETS GO----

LOL, thanks, I needed that.
Bill- nope, had enough of him, and his wife can't be any better.
Oprahma- please, go get some experience on what it takes to be a Chief Executive and how to build a team and understand that with whom you have relationships does reflect back on you.
McCain- last man standing so there i must go and support McCain. His age scares the bejeezus out of me so the VP becomes a much larger issue. I still recall watching the video snippets of Reagan dozing off when he was the prez.

If you had said yes to the Ron Paul question, I would have become quite despondent. Whew!

"I just cannot tolerate how someone would make fun of JFK's patriotism."
He wasn't. He was saying that it's hypocritical that blacks are accused of being uneducated when they have accents since JFK and other famous Americans also had accents/ stylized forms of speaking. Regardless of whether you agree with him, his statement has nothing to do with JFKs patriotism.
"Just watched the end of the youtube video... Wright is racist. No ifs and or buts about it."
I think you have to be pretty politically correct to call him racist based on that.
"He's a fucking moron. I cannot express how much I hate him. Not only is he DESTROYING Obama at the worst possible moment"
Since when is it his job to help Obama get elected? He's doing what did as a preacher- tell his political and social opinions. Do you expect him to stop doing that because a member of his congregation is running for president?

He made that point you mention BY mocking JFK's patriotic statement. JFK's patriotic statement is his patriotism, ergo he made his point by making fun of JFK's patriotism.

Please do not lump in responses to other people in your responses to me without indicating that the quotes you list are not from me.

Wright did help Obama a lot in his quest to become Senator and he did volunteer to help him become President. Your argument at face value is not correct. However, your argument should not even be taken at face value. One does not have to have a "job" of trying "to help Obama get elected" in order to refrain from making comments that would destroy Obama's political ambitions.
As for your next question, (1) you omit the fact that Wright is retired and (2) if he had any decency, he should have STFU while in retirement.

I'm glad Wright was not hit by a bus because he makes a better target for showing up his stupidity while alive than if dead. " Give a man enough rope, and he will hang himself." Seems to me that Obama has given him enough, and is now pulling it tight. Way to go, Obama.

I wish our ridiculous media would quit covering this guy and move on. He's a idiot and he's going to continue to be one as long as they're shoving a camera in his face. Leave him alone and let him waste the rest of his life in obscurity.
