This could only be true if Clinton believes two things. First is that she will not gain the nomination this year and second that Obama won't win in November.
If Clinton wins the nomintation and does not win the presidency then she would not typically be a consideration in 2012. Why would the Democrats put up a loser a second time to go against McCain (the theoretical winner) who would be running as an incumbant. And if Obama wins the presidency in November then he would be the incumbant in 2012 and the likely Democratic nominee.
So does Clinton believe she will not get the nomination and that the Democrats will lose in November????? Would she intentionally work to prevent Obama from winning in November so that she would have another shot at the presidency in 2012?
I agree with you entirely on this one. I don't think Hillary is really thinking that far ahead. Is she tearing down Obama because she knows she can't lift her self up to seem more appealing? You can argue that, but I find this theory of 2012 a little hard to believe.

That's fine with me. I think I'm farther to the right than you. I have no problem seeing the Democrat Party be destroyed for 10 years. I hope you can say the same.

Well,l hate to be the one to tell you,but that is exactly what hilaary is doing.silly or not that is her strategy, you don't think for 1 minute that the 3rd most powerful dem is going to come out and say something stupid, do you--he certaintly didn't get to where he is by shooting his mouth off-this stadegy was used before and it worked---what i like is as time goes on you hillary fans are starting to get a good look at a very devious woman--she can wait---so what's it to her to wait another 4 years to get her dream-which is 2 presidential salaries for the rest of their lives---easy street with all the trimmings---and all on your dime--
In light of the topic of this thread, I'm not positively sure of what Hillary's up to, but I am totally convinced that she is every bit "untrustworthy" as her negative ratings would bare out. I think it’s vitally important to let voters know (since the MSM will not report on it) that Hillary and Bill are involved in an upcoming “fraud trial”. The media has, thus far, protected Hillary from any coverage of this trial. Why do you think that is??
They, literally, spent most of the weekend, airing Rev. Wright’s appearances (which he had a right to defend himself, and quite frankly, I found quite a bit of truth in his talks), and spent ALL DAY Monday trying to convince viewers that he’s a kook. Oh…distractions, distractions, distractions. Well, maybe it’s time for the voters to acquaint themselves with something that is a “REAL” issue…like an upcoming “FRAUD TRIAL” for a presidential candidate…HELLO!!! Do we want a President who is deceptive and dishonest, let alone fraudulent?? (Remember her trip to Bosnia?)
Oh, Yeah…and just for an additional insert here (speaking about her lack of credibility and integrity) it would appear that she’s not as indignant about Rev. Wright and Minister Farrakan and Resko as she would like us to believe (people SHE knows associate with both men, and she hasn’t denounced them...hmmm...interesting!)
Should I go on about her NAFTA "LIE"
( let's not forget her campaigns lie about NAFTA during the Ohio primary, when they tried to smear Sen. Obama with false accusations) http://www.youtube.com/watch... http://www.youtube.com/watch...
These things speak volunes to me about Sen. Clinton, whether or not she has a plan to run in 2012. I'm thinking about her lack of integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, fairness, credibility, truthfulness, and any other moral characteristic adjective she is deficient of, right here, and right now, in this primary election of 2008.
ugh i can't stand hillary, obama or mccain at least their not walking talking hypocrite robots. We don't need another clinton when we have great candidates. mccain also stands for expierence and truelly cares about his country. Obama is a man with fresh idea's. its perfect and will be a great contest in the general election
