If the Democrats had any balls, they would start running negative ads on McCain
Not beg and whine and cringe as the Republicans ride rough shod all over the Democrats again. Just put out an ad saying that McCain sought the endorsement of anti-Catholic pastors and whatever other dirt they can find on McCain.
The Democrats will never learn that they always lose by being pussies.

I would start with that piece of shit, John Hagee. The McCain/Hagee connection should be exposed so as to cancel out the Obama/Wright “scandal” that was so prevalent in the news all those weeks.

McCain was in Hagee's church for 20 years? Hagee was the pastor at his and Cindy's wedding? McCain wrote a book based on Hagee's catch phrases?

I for one would prefer to see no attack ads on television. I'm glad they came up with video streaming so I won't have to watch such commercials. It does seem like McCain is getting away if you will with his connection to these radical priests, but so have is predecessors so it's not really surprising.

the Democrates have n o balls. there are like Stéphane Dion and the Liberals Party.this are why Bush he get elected and Mccain h e will keep Bush politique i n Irak.i say bevor Obama he need t o be leader of Democrate Party and he then will take n o shit from anybody. if he do this he will win the president.
N.C. republican party said they will run the add. I am not an Obama supporter, but I do think it is a bit of a stretch to link candidates to Rev. Wright just because they endorse Obama.

To be fair, Obama and Wright had a more serious connexion than the latter simply being a supporter of the former. Wright baptised Obama's children and wed him, after all... they obviously knew each other and no doubt each other's views quite well.
As to the topic overall:
Isn't the whole point of the Obama campaign to rise above the typical attack-ads anyways? Why sink to that level, if the above strategy has worked so well? I think it's a noble tactic, though incredibly difficult, and should be pursued regardless of the schlock the Republicans throw at him.

The add that N.C. Republican Party is running is about how the 2 Democrats running for office have endorsed Obama, not Rev. Wright. I have only heard the audio, but it starts out with some quotes by Rev. Wright and goes on to say how the 2 Dems endorsed Obama and how N.C. can't have people in office that support what Rev. Wright said. The 2 Dems never said they endorsed Rev. Wright! This is a true and pure example of association logic fallacy. Attack what the person said, not what the person they endorse said. Even worse, attacking someone for what someone 2 times removed from a person said.
