Parsely, calling him a truly great American leader, a moral compass, and a spiritual guide, and then they show all of the hate that Parsely preaches. Let alone the ad after or before that, that shows clips of Hagee.

I don't think this ad will have a significant impact on the overall Democratic vote.

and for the Revered Wright one, hahaha once again they take just a small snippet of what the pastor said. and i think we all can agree that what reverend wright had said does have a lot of truth in it......

wow.....if this is what the republican party represents i cannot support McCain for president, he will make a fool of this country just like that monkey we have in office right now
I would recommend that you look up the word terrorism. Like I said, IMO, the ad wont do much to dent the hard core Democratic vote. It will probably make some Independents go to McCain however.

The reason I suggested looking up the word terrorism is because it is not exclusive of an attack against a government. I used to live in a gang infested neighborhood and I can tell you people who lived in those communities were definitely terrified. Hence, in a lot of ghettos, there are bars on the windows and doors, no one who loves life wants to live in a community where you have to lock yourself up in your own home.

I challenge you to prove that Rev. Wright is hateful.

i don't think the GOP went out and found him, i think Obama brought him into the campaign, so he's fair game as far as i'm concerned. either Obama didn't really know this man well, and was just trying to seem religious. or he knew him, knew what he was about, and brought him along anyway.
Bingo, he did. And he said as much in his speech. Yes he disowned the particular comments, but he did not disown Wright. That in itself showed courage under fire, IMO.

in this context we are talking about terrorism againt the government and the country as a whole such as acts of 9/11...i know what terrorism is, no need to look it up....if we want to put it that way then nobody has been doing a good job at protecting the american people against terrorism...I'd like to see what John McCain has done in Arizona to prevent terrorism in his state. i believe Phoenix is now the fourth largest city in the united states....and lets remember large cities love crime...

You speak of a possibility as if it were a certainty. So far, the Democrats are only good at swift-boating each other, not Republicans. Show me one ad where the Democrats had the guts to Swiftboat the Republicans. I haven't seen that kind of ad from a Democrat since LBJ's Daisy ad in 1964.

When Hillary says "I'm fighting for you", I always say yeah you mean "I'm fighting for me". Her biggest slogan is a total lie.

I don't know that McCain is going to skate on Hagee...he called Katrina a curse on a wicked city again yesterday.

we've all heard the quotes, and here are a couple of lists i could find quick.

Pastor Jeremiah Wright Controversy “Quotes” | Bumpshack.com
Your Right Hand Thief

say all you want about them being taken out of context. they're still words from the man's mouth, and a lot of them it's hard to take out of context. they are what they are.
IMO, he's hateful because he's perpetuating hatred of white people in the black community. he's not seeking to bring the country together and end racism. he's seeking to exploit racism to put butts in the pews and money in the plates. he makes radical comments and speeches, knowing that blacks who already hate whites will be drawn to them, thereby increasing the size of his congregation and the churches bank account.
and it's been said many times, but i'll say it again. IMO, any white person who spoke like this about the 'black community' or 'black society' would be labeled a racist. and, yes, his remarks would be called hateful. ironically, probably by Rev. Wright himself.

sticking by your friends is good, and it was good of Obamma to come out against the comments. but you have to ask yourself, 'what did Obamma think was gonna happen?'. did he really think no one would have a problem with Rev. Wrights views, and how close Obamma says the two of them are? i'm sure he wanted to get it all out before one of his opponets brought it up. but you can't put someone like that in the spotlight, and then play the victim when people attack you for it. IMO.
