At times, especially during a presidential race, it's good to look back in the not too distant past and examine where we were vs where we are.

In May of 1987, the photo of Donna Rice sitting on the lap of Gary Hart circulated. The political career of one, who many thought to be a "new age" politician, was sunk due to marital infidelity. I believe because character mattered.

21 years later, we've already lived through 8 years of a president that would make Gary Hart blush and now we don't even skip a beat when the candidates lie, cheat and steal. 21 years, not a very long time to have sunk so low.
