What is Bill Clinton thinking?

Acording to a C.B.S. news story Bill Clinton brought up the whole landing under sniper fire lie . After it had died down
Quote:
Former President Bill Clinton gave a passionate defense Thursday of his wife’s claim about “landing under sniper fire” — just as the damaging controversy was dying down.

Bill Clinton said the news media treated her like she had “robbed a bank” and claimed she was experiencing end-of-day fatigue, even though she had made the claim in morning speeches.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) acknowledged two weeks ago that she “misspoke” and “made a mistake” in her overly vivid account of the 1996 landing in Tuzla, Bosnia, during a goodwill mission as first lady.

Video of a tranquil arrival ceremony refuted the claim, and her comments hurt her struggling campaign by reviving questions about her candor.

Now, her husband has revived the issue by claiming the comments were true during a “Solutions for America” campaign event in at Boonville High School in Boonville, Ind. Here are his comments, recorded by networks and reported by CBS News:
I wonder dose Bill Clinton want his wife to become president ? Why did he bring this up again ? Man the Clinton campaign dose not know the first thing about being in a political hole ( stop digging LOL ) .

You beat me to the punch. Anyways here's more information on the topic I just found a minute ago. Bill Clinton tells several lies as this article points out including the fact that he states Hillary immediately apologized for the lies she told (which isn't true) and stating that she made the comment only once late at night while exhausted, when in fact she told the false story regarding sniper fire on several occasions throughout the campaign.

I'm enjoying this campaign. At first it was getting tedious but lately; WOW

1: HillBilly just can't stop her lies and I've posted her lists in another post and Dick Morris has summed it up for all of us with his article

2: Bill stumbles on himself now that he isn't handled as well as when he was prez. I laughed when i saw the latest hit the newswire

3: Chelsea even refused to answer a legitimate question. The one about what people should think of a woman that looked the other way with Bill's philandering and womanizing just because she loves power

4: Oprahma's wife's comments

5: Rev Wright

6: Oprahma's new comments about PA

Are the lefties finally starting to look for morals in their candidate? Why do some find it outrageous to learn that morals really do matter. At the end of the day, it defines who you are.

Pendulums swing both ways and we were as far to the morally corrupt side as possible with Bill and Hill. Maybe the USA is getting to the center and is looking for a little more from it's politicians

That isn't a legitimate question, especially since it assumes something to be true without really knowing and then the person has the nerve to ask the couple's daughter. Would you have answered the question if you were their child?

She was out campaigning which means trying to convince people to vote for mom. It was no secret, and Bill was charged for sexual assault while sitting as the president. During this, mommy sat by and "stood by her man"

You are damn right that I know it's a legitimate question. This woman wants to run the USA, be in charge of the mightiest military force on this planet and let Bill do what Bill did while she stood idle. That cuts right to the core of what is Hillary and what's important........the quest for power. As long as Chelsea campaigns, answer the damn questions.

How judgmental and you didn't answer the question, "would you have answered."

Nemesis, if i was campaigning and someone asked a question to which I had knowledge, then I am obligated to provide an answer beyond "none of your business. If you want to campaign, answer the questions. If you don't want to answer questions, or have your life examined and questioned, then you should not enter politics and that includes being an adult campaigning for mommy.

I hope everyone is judgmental come election time. Voters need to make judgment calls based upon their gut as to the character of the candidate.

I can't envision anyone defending the Clintons as being solid with respect to character; but some will try. And that, will be personal judgment with no wrong or right, just feelings.

what is the first thing that comes to your mind about the clinton administration--monica lewinski---fair game--Yes i would answer the question, because to answer it would get it over with--by refusing just gives people more fodder! people still look at chelsea as a little kid, gees she's 28,the question i would ask her is. Do you work for a living? what were you folks doing when you were 28? i was working my ass off,6 days a week. talk about hipicritical,i wonder if hillary or chelsea even has washed 1 dish in their lifetime.yes i am bitter with the fact that hillary was in a bar downing a couple with normal folks--like she does this on a regular basis.YEAH RIGHT
