Those who are poor (whites and Blacks are whatever) have many self-defeating attitudes. For blacks or minorties, you have to add the past as a contributing factor. Some people keep saiding the past shouldn't matter or it shouldn't be a factor for the present ills. Then I ask you, did you learn from your grandparent? Your parents? That is aleast fifty years of experiences that influenced you. Mine parent were hard working middle-clase folks out of the depression and Jim Crow south. They had no hatre for whites, but when a white cop approach our car,you could feel the tenison raises. Even though I am a law-abidding folk like mine parent, I feel the same way when a white cop comes torward me. I know I am not facing the same racist KKK card carrying cop that mine love ones faced but the feeling is still there. Past isn,t something that is dead and forgotten. We as a people must solve over crowded school, rethink the Drug war and other ills. If one think this just a minority problem, just wait these problems will come to your neighborhood soon. It won't be a minority bringing it, but what our government allows to happen. The time to argue about the why ( or it's validations) is over. Pointing fingers is for the weak. Can we march together for a common goal( view some the later civil rights marches) such as a level educational system?

Back to the subject. In ( if you are willing) considering this country history, you will get Rev Wrights poping up. Right or wrong that how it is. This is one area of cause and effects in american history that a few whites have problem with. "Oh we know it was bad ( really it was horrid), but for you blacks to listen to all that Unamerican stuff Wright been preaching?! " With all those unamerican actions comitted against Blacks in the past what's a few reactionary comments in the present? Are you honestly surprise we have no trouble listen to someone who is critical of this nation?

Politically – Everything is shifting and splintering around us.
Black is white. White is black. Nothing is the same.
Without real leadership the country has become a rubble pile.
Delegating leadership to the lowest level leads to disaster.
It has gone on too long. Wake up America.
Real leadership is a top-down procedure. Experience counts.
Selecting and hiring a new leader is a very serious matter.
