Post Oboma should be much more critical of Rev. Wright but he cannot. Why?

This argument is very simple. Obama wants to make a change, a new political order that truly is a big tent.

However, if he does become critical of Rev. Wright his tent will shrink. This means that his politics for change will weaken. His base will shrink.

Also, this is amazing to me. Obama knew about the possible ramification of what Rev. Wright has been preaching for a long time. He ignored it. He hoped it would blow over. If he is not careful his big tent will blow over.

Finally, Hillary got the shaft from her own party. Ted Kennedy dropped Hillary so he could continue his brothers civil rights legacy. If Obama had been white this would not have been possible for Kennedy to do.

What do you suggest Obama should do vis-a-vis Rev. Wright right now?

Your comment about Kennedy is a very unintelligent and baseless one.

unintelligent -- nice word

personal attack -- give me facts or ideas -- no personal attacks please that's the easy way out

You said: 'What do you suggest Obama should do vis-a-vis Rev. Wright right now?'

If you mean by vis-a-vis as one that is face to face with or opposite to another. Then my answer would be 'yes'.

It is a nice word because it is aptly used to describe your comment about Kennedy, which is also not a personal attack.

Sad. I guess you don't know what vis-a-vis means. Never mind.

What I said about Kennedy rings true to many people I have spoken to. It's about the Kennedy civil rights legacy. At least Obama has not murdered anyone while driving drunk.

Well the Illuminati and the Ku Klux Klan ring true to many people as well, that doesn't make its true. I am very proud of how you can admit that Obama is not a drunk driving murderer. At least the right wing attacks will not be 100% bullshit, maybe just 99.99%. A marked improvement.

Your thought process is improving. You now qualify to be a college professor. You could teach Sociology at Harvard.

Your big words are just that -- big but they lack pith. Don't try to bait me with statements referring to the Ku Klux Klan. Have you got a guilt complex about the past?

25% of Americans stated last year that Jesus would return in 2007 and 40% of Americans still think Saddam is responsible for 9/11. All because something may "ring true" to people's ears doesn't mean it is factually accurate in the least. Considering that his endorsement coincided with the criticisms of fellow Democrats including himself towards the Clintons and their campaign tactics against Obama, that too could just as easily be the reason. After all the Kennedy's and the Clintons were former political allies.
