please can anybody tell me how at this stage of the most important presidential race in this country's history can a candidate condone such a racists remarks especially since hillary last week insisted obama fire a consultant over a simple word (monster)oh ---and what state is hillary a senator of??She coveted the endorsement of spitzer and counted on his SUPER DELIGATE vote-----WELL WHAT STRANGE BED_FELLOWS they have turned out to be----can anyone STILL actually believe hillary has the countries best interest at heart---SHE IS RUNNING TO THE FARTHEST CORNER OF THE UNIVERSE TO GET AWAY FROM SPITZER____TALK ABOUT BEING THERE WHEN THE PHONE RINGS--NOT--WHAT A L_O_S_E_R!!!!!
Ferraro is a racist sexist bitch. She says Obama is "very lucky to be who he is." Yeah, wow blacks are so fucking lucky. We have ONE black senator in the US Senate out of 100 SENATORS. Blacks make up 13% of the population, so in proportion to that, you would think we would have 13 senators, but no, we only have ONE: Obama.
WOW THAT IS SO FUCKING LUCKY TO BE TOTALLY UNDER REPRESENTED.
I notice Ferraro didn't say anything about how a person who held no political office was GIVEN the authority to create NATIONAL HEALTHCARE in 1994 (Hillary). GIVEN the senate seat in New York, and GIVEN the front-runner status of the Democratic Party because she is the wife of the former President. Yeah, Ferraro is not a total racist sexist bitch, no way.
Let's also note that Obama succeeded in becoming a US senator, something that Miss Ferraro attempted, but failed. She's a racist bitch who hides behind race to distract from the fact that she's a failure.

It's going back to South Carolina style white vs black race-baiting now. Ferraro has just flat out lied and said that anytime someone has "tried to pull down" the Obama campaign, they're accused of being racist. Now the Democratic 2008 nomination is no longer about the best candidate, but about white rights.
This is just like the race-baiting that Nixon did, pitting blacks vs whites in order to drive whites into his tent.
The most important thing is not that Obama wins, but that Hillary loses. Hillary must not be the next President.

" 'Any time anybody does anything that in any way pulls this campaign down and says let's address reality and the problems we're facing in this world, you're accused of being racist, so you have to shut up,' Ferraro said. 'Racism works in two different directions. I really think they're attacking me because I'm white. How's that?'...
To my knowledge, nobody called her racist. It was only said that her comments were just dishonest and uncalled for. How does she explain white voters turning out in big numbers to vote for Obama in Wisconsin (Clintons "bread and butter")? Is that just the black cantidate at work?
In regards to "it's because I'm white!!!"...Ferraro, please. The only people who have thrown race grenades in this election season have been the Clinton camp. If there was some sort of conspiracy against the female cantidate, why wasn't she crying foul at this when flack was coming back on Bill? She is defending to the end her own blatant racism, and this is dispicable of her to try and make this claim.
Quote:
" 'Sexism is a bigger problem,' Ferraro argued. 'It's OK to be sexist in some people's minds. It's not OK to be racist.'"
When the hell did Obama come out and say "if Hillary were not a woman would she be where she is - she is lucky to be who she is"? He could point to many poll reports that show a huge boost of support from women, but he hasn't, because he knows the country is not as easy as "women with hillary/blacks with obama". Then again, integrity and honesty doesn't seem to be a concept that Geraldine is cozy with. (if this situation is any indicator of her thought process). She is trying to drag Obama down to where she is at to make her own racism seem legit.

In an ideal world, the race of the Senators would not be an issue as they would be there to serve ALL Americans equally. It wouldn't matter if they were white, black or latino. However with that said, I acknowledge that things are far from perfect and I completly understand your view. As you pointed out, blacks make up about 13% of the population, and that is dispersed around the country. And there are a not inconsiderable number of whites, and to an extent latinos who would not vote for a black candidate. Sad, commentary about race relations, we've come a long way from the 50's but we still have a good ways left to go.
