its about the overall well being of the party. john mccain would destroy the republican party. all of these candidates, while some might be worse than others, won't.

rudy, fred or duncan would have been phenomenal.

mitt was excellent.

huckabee is ok.

mccain is flat-out RINO

Oh wait, I forgot that Huckabee has only an incredibly small number of delegates. He can only make it to the White House on the back of John McCain, a far superior candidate.
I agree and would be moving to Denmark (where they pay their students to go to college) if Huckabee were to be elected .. not that that will happen. If I were to vote republican I would vote McCain. He seems real and I do like his Maverik attitude. The 10 Commandments does not belong in or near the constitution .. and that bible-thumping lunatic doesn't belong in office.

Wow Super, I have a few political parties here in SA I'd like you to endorse, and in Zimbabwe come to think of it, we really REALLY need them to loose some elections soon, so your endoresment would be great!

But seriously, what I've read about Huck, he wants to turn the US into exactly what you are fighting - a Religious Fundementalist state, don't sound like the kinda guy I'd like to see as one of the most powerful in the world.

He wields the Reverse Midas Touch with his endorsements - every candidate he rallies behind turns to shit shortly after.

Teh Huck represents the main reason for the distaste I have for Repubs. While I lean toward fiscal conservatism, too many Repubs want to legislate their religious beliefs into law. With all the problems we are having as a nation right now, the radical right spends their nights awake worrying that somehow somewhere, a gay couple might get married, or a woman they don't know and will likely never meet will decide to have an abortion.

Come on billy, you know that there is no room for the constitution in conservatism anymore.

Come on now. He never said he was going to turn it into the 10 commandments. The President cant create new Amendments anyway, that is Congress who can only do that. Last I checked, the Dems controlled it and such an attempt, which is 100% unlikely, would never get the light of day. Huckabee never said he wanted to change the constitution into the 10 commandments in the 1st place.
