You'd mainly be getting rid of taxes on the rich, and that hurts most Americans who need services provided by the government including medical services, social security, defense, education.....roads, infrastructure things like that.

Well thankfully, Ron Paul couldn't get elected as governor, let alone President, so it's scary if you take Ron Paul seriously (which I don't).

Well, I'm doing something I have never ever done before, mobilizing a coalition.

I gathered up my Mother,Father,Fiance, sister, and a friend up out of thin air to get the vote out for Obama. By the way, none of them no a damn thing about Politics, and weren't even going to vote. I told them they are coming with me to vote Obama and they agreed after giving them a little scare about HillBilly becoming president, there eye's grew wide and said "HELL NO"!!

Talk about a single person not being able to do anything, Piz and W.E.B. probably already got a couple of dozen people to take advantage of their most basic right in a democracy, and even better that they'r going for Obama

Way to go guys! Sí se puede

am afraid, the Republicans will have a field day if Obama is the Democratic nominee. Wide eyed, bushy tail yongsters are losing all touch with reality. With Obama's nomination, the Democratic party will loose an opportinity of epic proportion. McCain or KKK will beat him hands down. It is not racism, it is reality. If the Dems fail, they are the one who will be to blame, no one else. Kennedys and Kerrys are doing the whole nation a disfavor. They are putting their own personal vandetta take better of their judgement and they are hurting the national albeit the the whole world's welfare. I will not be surprised if the Republicans are pouring in money in Obama campaign, he will be their dream opponent, They are just licking at their chop and waiting on the side. Please do wake up. Stop Obama now.
If Barak Obama is the Dem candidate, we will not waste our time to participate in the voting process at all. McCain or Huckabee or xyz will beat him hands down. This is USA 2008, not 2038!
Sorry for the strong opinion, but I do care for the Democratic party, have never voted Republican and never will. I may just sit out.

I second that. He's not doing to shabby.

I'm from New Hampshire so I obviously voted a while ago (for Obama, might I add). My vote almost went to Edwards, but changed it last minute. There was no way I was going to vote for Hillary. I would love a female president, however Hillary Clinton is not the woman whom I want the standards and reputation of future female presidency to be set from.

¡Sí podemos!

It's really unfortunate that your opinions are so narrow minded. You can't bring up the KKK in this situation and not call it racist; that's like saying Attourney General Cuomo's 'shuck and jive' comment wasn't racist. Where is your arguement as to WHY Obama "can't win?" We haven't heard that yet .. so please, enlighten us. All of your comments added to the discussion so far have been low-blows to his ethnicity, but no facts or foundation. I'd love to hear why McCain (who supports the war in Iraq 100%) would have such a paramount advantage over Obama.
I think if it's between McCain and Obama it will be neck-to-neck all the way. Both candidates draw in support from independents (more so then any others), and they also draw in support from their opposing parties.
