Arrow *There's More Ways Than One To Excoriate A Cat*

Sorry bout that,

1. If Romney gets bumped out of this thing.
2. Us *Real Republicans* will be in a quagmire for sure.
3. America in general will only have a *Liberal* to vote for.
4. So if that's the case how shall the *Regular Republican* vote?
5. If we vote for John McCain, we are allowing this *OUR* Country to go into a huge funk, with our Party's name on it.
6. Same goes with Hillary.
7. But, and there's that word, *but*, if Obama gets elected, he may be a *Great President*.
8. He seems very principled, to a degree, anyway, he has far less skeletons in his closet than the other two.
9. There is one question about that very expensive home he got for a huge discount, other than that he seems fairly clean.
10. But who wouldn't buy a very nice house at a huge discount anyways?
11. It wasn't like it was free.
12. So to skin this cat and get er done, its time we *Real Republicans* vote for real change, and vote for Obama.

Regards,
SirJamesofTexas

Obama is going to change things in the wrong direction. Socialized medicine, amnesty for the illegal, tighter gun control, a higher tax on gasoline. How does any of that help? Socialized medicine gives more control the government. Amnesty for the illegals will not help the economy because they send a lot of their money back to Mexico. Tighter gun control only hurts the law abiding citizens. You think a criminal that will use a gun for a crime cares if the gun is legal or not? A lot of lives were saved because the off-duty security guard had her gun when that church was attacked. Don't you think we pay enough for gasoline? This will A) hurt the middle and lower classes because they have less money, which in turn B) hurts the economy because they will spend less money. Open your eyes, please. Just because they are calling for change doesn't mean it's for the better.

Anyone who says McCain is a liberal but thinks Romney is a conservative, is not part of the reality-based community? Question for you: Do you approve of the job Bush is doing?

1. But all in all I think *President Bush* has done *A-OK*.
2. He does seem to do some very stupid things at times I can't agree with.
3. Like the ports deal, and others hair brained ideas he came up with.
4. His taking the war to Islam is *CWN APPROVED*.

If the war is your biggest concern, then you should be able to see the wide gulf between McCain and the Democrats, even if you don't like his stance on immigration.

On spending too there is a wide gulf.

I also like Ron Paul... call me crazy, but it seems like he really makes sence to me - a few of his ideas I'm not really behind, but I really believe he could get our financial house in order. We spend way too much on very wasteful policies... it is one really big problem. I know many people who like him so I don't get why he is doing badly - may be not hard core enough for that party.... ? There are one or two other candidates I think I vould vote for in the Republican party.

One thing on Obama - he doesn't stand for socialized goverment runned medicine. Obama just wants to make it really affordable and fair for everyone, but not mandate heath coverage for everyone. He all so wants to stop ALL federal income taxes on retired working individuals who are still working and making less than 50,000$ a yr. Obama does want to lower taxes on all middle income Americans all so.

As far as immigrants goes - it is a very problem that needs a lot of reform - we can build as big as a wall as we want, but until we CHANGE our governments policy - they will all ways just keep on coming in to the states... ? If you go to Mexico as an American or from any other country and buy a house - it's more like a 99 yr lease - one of the things you HAVE to do is be able to speak Spanish first... go figure !!! Don't get me wrong - my parents came from another, but they came here and assimilated into this great country - one of the ways were learning English among many others. We, by our own policies make it a problem for this country.... Obama wants to make Engilsh mandatory.

As far as gasoline : we need to be much much more efficient and/or try and get off of gasoline as a energy source for our cars - we do have great movement in this area. One car an American developed gets 150 miles a gallon - where is it - no car company is taking his model - why don't they... we really need to reform the way things are structured for us and our country... not only will this help our economy by selling this great new development in technology around the world, but help us get more energy independant...

Get yer facts straight...

Quote:
In June 2005, in what Obama now describes as a "boneheaded" mistake, Obama and Rezko's wife bought adjacent properties on Chicago's South Side, closing the deals on the same day. Seven months later, wanting a bigger yard for his $1.65 million house, Obama bought a slice of the Rezko property for $104,500.

And by the way, Obama isn't the only Democratic Presidential candidate that has had something to do with Rezko:

Why do people refer to the dems as liberals? The only real liberal in the race is Ron Paul, and he's probably also the only real republican out there...so "liberal" would be more fitting for reps than dems, not only this time around.

The definition of liberal changes on where you are, and what year it is. I hear in Australia the "liberals" are more like the "conservatives" in the US.

"Liberal" in the modern American lexicon means someone who is for high taxes, income redistribution, big government, and quasi socialism.

Ron Paul is a classical liberal though. Back when liberal in the United States meant someone who was for the individual liberties of the people, and for a small non-intrusive government. Since the word liberal got hijacked it's called libertarian now.

Many Republicans aren't so conservative these days, especially Bush Republicans. They favor many of the big government, quasi socialist programs as well.
