strategy?

who's strategy will work?
Obama- Not taking on Bush directly, "Respectively" disagreeing with republicans and the Bush Administration
Clinton- Taking bush head on, making snide, condescending remarks toward the Bush administration

Personally, I prefer blunt honesty, but from as far as furthering one's political career, respectfully disagreeing is probably the wisest. Although, sometimes, when a point needs to be made, it needs to be made strongly.

Well, though I might respect Clinton for being direct, Obama's strategy will probably be more effective.

Obama takes on Bush directly, and the Republicans in Congress.

What makes him different is that while he is willing to attack Republican officials, he wants to win Republican voters. He does this by stating a fairly accurate depiction of the Republican view and then agreeing with it in part and explaining how he can achieve a liberal end in a way that doesn't upset too many conservatives.

For all the bitching the left has done for the last 8 years about "uniter not a divider" it will be great to see them nominate Hillary Clinton, probably the third most divisive figure in modern American politics.

Obama is still a socialist, not as much as Clinton, but he still has a distorted view of conservatism. Obama would be the least dangerous democrat for our country. Don't forget conservatism made us a super power and the biggest most resilient economy in the world.

Conservatives want Obama to run because they know he can't win. Hillary is another story. The conservatives have feared her since the early 90's and now the media is playing up Obama because they know that even McCain could beat Obama. So much for the so-called left-wing media.

Most Republicans would love the Democrats to nominate Hilary Clinton. She has so many people against her she would be by far the easiest to beat. Obama would be much harder to beat than Clinton, as he is nowhere near as divisive as she is.

Conservatives have never feared Hilary Clinton, they've always hated her though. You're believing her BS rhetoric. She has been defeated by Republicans before, and rather convincingly (Early 90's health care initiative).

a Hillary administration would only be 1 term. You think bush was bad, wait 'till Hillary gets a hold of power, then democrats would be the butt of the jokes. And Conservatives would gain power again. Although if it is McCain v Obama, i might consider voting for Obama. Although i disagree with him at least he seems to be honest. McCain has flipped and flopped and trampled the constitution every chance he has had.

In other words, he finds the common ground.
