You're kidding right? Did you even read your own article?

Quote:
"In 1999-2000, faced with threats of insurgencies in Western and Northern Darfur, Khartoum’s [aka the capital of Sudan's centralized government] security armed the Janjaweed forces. When the insurgency escalated in February 2003, spearheaded by the Sudan Liberation Movement, and the Justice and Equality Movement, the Sudanese Government responded by using the Janjaweed as its main counter-insurgency force. Protracting the forces to attack and recover the rebel held areas of Darfur, the Janjaweed conducted a scorched earth campaign of mass atrocity targeting civilians in the region of Darfur. As of October, 2007, only the United States' government has declared the Janjaweed killings in Darfur to be genocide, since they have killed an estimated 200,000-400,000 civilians in the last three years.[7][8] The U.S. State Department and others in 2004 named leading Janjaweed commanders including Musa Hilal as suspected genocide criminals. The UN Security Council called for the Janjaweed to be disarmed.

By early 2006, many Janjaweed had been absorbed into the Sudan Armed Forces including the Popular Defence Forces and Border Guards."
However did the Sudanese government get into the picture
There's no denying that the Sudanese government is sponsering them, by arming them, supporting them with Sudanese aircrafts and absorbing them in their army. The US/French fundings weren't to commit genocide but to overthrow the Chadanese government, the Sudanese government has funded them to commit genocide.
Blatant ignorance on negative well-accepted facts against his/her state, the first sign of chauvinism, and the essential ingredient that is the de-education element of an authoritarian state. Am I ever glad I can still think for myself.

I thought these darfurians are living in these tent settlements. Makes you wonder who gave these guys get the weapons and the ways to travel to attack Khartoum. Obviously something is missing here.
In any genocide, coalition groups have been formed, what's your point?
What's that something missing? Only thing missing is your acknowledgment of your ignorance.
I actually despised the UN for not doing enough in terms of intervention (but we all know China is behind that), especially after what happened in Rwanda.
