This article kind of reminds me of back when conspiracy theorists were talking about how blacks were content with being second class citizens until those damn commies got them all riled up. Seriously though there are plenty of double standards with gays vs straights. I'll write a list.
Gays don't need to get married because virtually everything straight people can do through marriage gays can do through other means.
If that is a valid argument then why do we have marriage for straight people?
Gays choose their sexual orientation.
When was the last time a straight person choose their sexual orientation?
Allowing gays to marry would be giving them special rights.
No because straight people would be allowed to marry members of the same sex too just as gays can marry members of the opposite sex. It's not a special right if anyone can do it.
Being gay is unhealthy.
Having sex with different people is unhealthy. Lesbians are actually less likely to contract STDs then straights and gay men are more likely to because they as men are willing to have more open relationships and women aren't involved in gay couples obviously.
