And yes, extent does matter.

oh really? then what if we send some people to Canada to help those Quebec independence advocates?
Sure, if they want too, althought they are pretty rare nowadays. It's not like I need to feel threatened by them, to such an extent that I can single handedly amend the constitution and take away their freedoms of assembly and speech.
Your tyrannical reaction to opposition though, illustrates a classic example of insecurity.

why Sub Sahara African is a different story?
They have decolonized more recently, have yet to be developing economies (especially near the Congo) which lead to strong ethnic solidarity, exclusive policies, low democratization, fear of power and economic hardship. In short, Sub Sahara Africa faces hard challenges that are not present in the majority of the outside world.
Plus, many crises are supported by a difference in foreign power within regions. Like China supporting Sudan despite the genocides and it dismantles all Security Council proposals towards peace for that purpose.
Shouldn't be surprised though, it's not the first time the CCP does something like that; look at Cambodia (eventhough the genocide also targetted Chinese people!).

oh really? your long time beloved human rights hero and freedom fighter seems to be quite enjoying his meet with the most evil anthoritarian ever, you dont give a shit?
Strawman, I think you have me confused with your stereotypes towards "westerners".
There's nothing wrong with talking to Mao. Diplomacy is the driving force behind peace. Mao was a pretty horrible leader in all aspects, so even the more reasons to have discussions with him and try to contain his horrible policies.

whoa, seems like your argument is not that 'unchallenged' as you yourself claimed lol.
Pretty much still are. Except petty attacks at my person and talking about the obvious freedom of speech in Canada, you have done little to prove me wrong.

Oh wow, he did it again. What's next? Stephen Harper wears a blue tie, HE MUST KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN REGARDS TO INTERNATIONAL POLITICS!!!!!
