The problem is, ethanol is actually more harmful to the environment.

Of course the problem with hydrogen is the conservation of energy argument, but I still think it is the most viable energy source.

The cyanobacteria article is interesting, but I still don't think ethanol is the answer in terms of the harm caused to the environment.

The way I look at it, the only thing that all of us humans have in common is the Earth in which we live. And It is our responsibility to do what we can, whatever we can, to preserve it.

I think we should look towards the earth itself for energy. Renewable energy sources, for example. Also, I think we should try harnessing the power of lightning, and the heat that is generated below the earth. These are the things we should be looking at.

Also, burning coal to generate heat to boil water to spin turbines, in my opinion, is definitely not the most effective way to generate electricity. If we can cut out the middle man and find some way to generate electricity from the heat itself, THEN we're talkin business.
