I have to agree. People are whining about the "huge" loss of life in Iraq now, and they fail to realize that our 4000 lost soldiers pales in comparison to the tens of thousands that were lost on D-Day. The Great Generation are the ones responsible for allowing the US to keep it's independence. If they had not banded together to support their country we would likely be under Nazi or Japanese control right now. These people went through a hell that we could not even imagine, and they deserve respect for that.
