As for the comment above, that is because it is. Darwin's theory of Evolution, if you care to go back and read your history is the turning point that has led to eugenics, fascism, holocaust, and even planned parenthood. Every scientist or doctor that was involved in these groups named above all looked to Darwin's theory of evolution as the holy grail and committed terrible acts in its wake. Eugenics was based on junk science alone, it was started in England, then came here to the USA, where it saw its methods put into actual practice first(Indiana was the first state on the planet to legalize forced sterilization, before it became legal the doctor involved had already done over 200 illegal sterilizations alone), then we saw the Nazis use it on the Jews through fascism, which we know as the Holocaust. Planned Parenthood is a direct connection to the eugenics movement, along with the IQ(Intelligent Quotient) test(which if you want to know a little history on it it was created so as to group people into feebleminded, morons, or socially inept people. It was never based on finding out anything good about people like we talk about it today, they just wanted to know if the people taking it were worthy of living in this country when they finally charted everyone's lineage), the standardized test format, among other things.

The science of the theory of evolution led to these absolute disasters in the 20th century. The terrible part is the scientists behind these movements, along with their financiers all knew the science had very little real data to go on, but they did it anyway.

Here in the USA alone over 60,000 people were forcibly sterilized in the 1930s, mostly out in California. Ever heard of Brush Mountain in Virginia in the 1930s? Ultra liberals, like the Carnegie Institute and the Rockefeller Foundation were the biggest fund providers to a place called Cold Spring Harbor. This is where the US eugenics movement planned, methodized, and practiced. IBM, the computer company wrote programs for the eugenics movement. It was all based on junk science and Dr. Charles Davenport was the leader of it, along with a man named Dr. Laughlin.

What was once eugenics morphed into what we now know today as "genetics" and "human engineering", both sciences.

Take a gander at it and see how all these scientists at the turn of the 20th century used Darwin's theory as a foundation for their own pseudosciences in eugenics and such not just here in the USA but in England and eventually in Nazi Germany. It is all about the "blood". Read this book then go read Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf and see the gross similarities in wording and foresight. They are totally identical.

Also you can look to the AMA(American Medical Association) and the APA(American Physcological Association) as they too were involved with this. Hell some of the founders of the APA were eugenisicts.

America wanted a Nordic Super Race, Germany wanted an Aryan Super Race. Doesnt matter what race you want, all these sciences stemmed from Darwin's theory of Evolution.

And it caused many deaths, without any real data behind it to factually back it up. So if this is what Ben Stein said, then he is 100% right in that regard about Darwin's theory of evolution leading to sciences that killed alot of people.
