I would say that what has most alarmed me recently has been the amount of Chinese nationalists that I saw on this forum. That shows me that the US is digging its own grave by having these free trade deals with China. It may very well be too late for us, since our factories are already in China. I guess we can't do anything about it. Things will likely stay the way they are. If we're smart, we'll try to start reversing the trend, if only for the reason of levelling out our trade balance.

China is a developing country, that means a poor country. In average, people do not receive as high education as westerners in average, which is also partly why China does not practice western democracy. In direct voting, it is highly likely a ultra-nationalist party will win, becasue the society cannot afford to educate each of the 1.3 billion people up to very high standards. CCP is really not very nationalistic, whether you believe it or not. Communist left wing cooperated with the Prowest liberals to pass the new Labor Law that scared many foreign business away.

Discrimination against black people may exist in China. I won't lie about it. However, many of the better educated population respect people from any races. Since you do not know, there are actually some black celebrities that are popular in Chinese cities.
